Mayors and police chiefs from cities across New England gathered in Providence, RI, today to participate in robust conversations about successful strategies and solutions for making cities safer, supporting effective policing methods, and addressing the root causes of crime.

Today we welcomed a delegation from the Ota, Japan, City Assembly to #SalemMA City Hall. Ota has been Salem’s Sister City for 35 years and we had a wonderful afternoon talking about the history of that relationship and the importance of the bonds of international friendship.
