It is with heavy heart that I tell my friends of the passing of my youngest son Justin. Age 26. apparent overdose. My 2nd son in 7 years to leave me way too soon. i may go silent for a bit as I try to process. Losing 1 was hard. losing 2 is unbearable. Pray for my family ❤.

31 years ago my oldest was born but he left this earth in 2015. He was an avid sports nut but especially Clemson and Dallas. Only fitting Clemson is playing on his birthday and it’s in Dallas. I miss him terribly but can’t help but smile at how happy he is in heaven today❤️❤️❤️.

We will have a memorial service for my son Justin on Sunday Jan 23 at 2pm at Cane Bay high baseball stadium. i would love friends family and former teammates to attend. we will spread some ashes on the mound, his favorite place on earth.

I took a big step today. for the first time since Justin died in Jan 2022 I went inside his bedroom. Others have been in but I never could until today. sounds weird and small but for me it was huge. i shed a few years and removed some stuff to keep. Rest is going goodwill ❤.

Personal news : I have been feeling bad for a few weeks and learned today I had a heart attack. I'm currently hospitalized getting a battery of tests amd procedures to form a path forward. I cant believe I'll miss the state title games but gotta get better.#loveyouall.

1 year ago today my youngest son Justin was found dead in the bathroom of a local restaurant with a needle in his arm, on his knees. he was a heroin addict and he was 26 years old. his dose was laced with fentanyl, which was ruled to have ended his life.

UPDATE: after 16 days on a ventilator and 2 very close calls, my ex wife has improved. now responsive and aware. still a long ways to go but your prayers are helping. My family is very grateful!

For the first time since Ryan died four years ago I spent the entire Christmas Day with my other two boys. Brandon and Justin and I had lunch and dinner together and spent some time at Maegan’s house for the grandkids Christmas. Still pain in my heart but a really good day.

So, as of now, the 2023 Oceanside Collegiate baseball team will have a Clemson commit, a Louisville commit, a Georgia Tech commit and a Coastal Carolina commit. and they are moving down to Class AA after winning the AAA state title this spring. LOADED.

Ive refrained from tweeting about my health while getting tests and a small surgery. Good news is no cancer. But I do have significant issues with kidney and bladder. Diabetes is out of control. we have a plan and hopefully I can control it. 6 weeks of misery but feelin better.

I feel pain in my heart for the loss of Wando AD Bob Hayes. A guy I’ve known for nearly 30. When I was struggling healthwise last fall he showed great empathy and concern. Genuine concern. And I didn’t have any idea what he was going through. He was a GREAT man.

Few knew of his problem but he spiraled out of control lately. refusing to get help. i tried so many ways to convince him there was a better way to live. but honestly he just never got over his brother's death. im numb. a broken ❤ doesn't begin to describe what I feel.

Well I was headed to Hartsville. 75 mph down I 95. Blown front tire sent me sideways. Ripped the fender headlight and other stuff. Fortunately I navigated to the side of road without making contact with anyone. I’m very lucky. Shook like a leaf for half hour but im 👍.
