@thatsnotmine125 @MartinSLewis Really depends on how you define substantial difference, doesn't it? For me, 100k would be enough for me to live in the area I'd like to (to be near family) which I can't currently afford. I wouldn't be mortgage free or quit work but my life would change significantly.

@BergerBrakes @IanDunt It'll be harder for them to win back Reform voters than it would have been centre-ish moderate-ish voters. They're just continuing to back themselves into a corner with an ever decreasing core voter base.

@anthony_romford @JamesFitzJourno @Keir_Starmer I don't think anyone's claiming he's poor. But you're wrong about his salary.

@JamesBalliol @maxtempers @BernoulliDefect @Samfr I know quite a few civil servants who would absolutely leave if not for the pension. They know very well that most of them could get higher salaries elsewhere, it's only worth it with the whole package (and for some it's only affordable that way).

@kalerd @NationalGridESO Gas is cleaner than coal. But in the long run we'll be able to reduce the amount of gas in the mix too.

@Ubique2078 @Shep73David @NationalGridESO It's not that lovely living near to Ratcliffe power station seeing the emissions bellow out into the beautiful area either! Good riddance to a highly polluting plant.

@hamsandwich007 @madmike193 @DouglasCarswell @nealasher Head of department's salary does not increase with headcount. Complete nonsense. Civil service would have to be doing this with the same number of people because their budgets are being cut, so no I don't think they'd like it at all.

@WD40myROBOT @JulieAMcDowall @chriskeating Doesn't *everyone* wish they'd never seen it? (Except those who have actually never seen it obviously)

@ennakbl @JeremyCordite @ByDonkeys They checked ALL MPs. Including Lammy. Farage is the highest paid, that's literally the point and why he's being "singled out".

@Del50651994 @ByDonkeys What bit of him being the highest paid MP do you not understand? Yes, that means higher paid than any Labour (or Conservative, or any other) MP currently.

@lexiconmistress @mrhenrymorris @llamalaa @RefugeeAction @CeliaRichards0n Only if it's also smothered in real butter. Otherwise it's vegan.

@wurzel260654 @steelttown @SkyNews @Stone_SkyNews Yep and it's specifically mentioned in the article too, they haven't overlooked it! "But she isn't a Haitian migrant. She was born in America. And the incident didn't happen in Springfield either."

@gsxrlucy21 @MartinSLewis I think the point is that X already make money from it. The ads are already shownand X gets the revenue. And that will always be the case if he wants to post on X. The question is whether a proportion of that money is diverted from X to a good cause.

@gojph @outoutout753 @KT8_online @YRUnotlistening @CeliaRichards0n I gave my toddler strawberries as a snack today. Then I realised they're vegan and I'm inadvertently raising him to be woke. Oh no!

@vanitywelsh @outoutout753 @KT8_online @YRUnotlistening @CeliaRichards0n Ah but margarine hadn't been taken over by the woke vegans back then, so it was alright. Anything not containing dairy or flesh *these days* is pure woke evil trying to subvert society, or something. That's why they'll only eat bread laced with bacon. And apples make them angry.

@JonneVeetinen @LouCalvey The Rwanda plan could never accommodate a meaningful number of people. Even its staunchest proponenets never claimed it would. Your "easy" solution is a fantasy.

@MariadeleBocca1 @Samfr And that it's the *successful* applicants who would stay in Rwanda, not the failed ones! A world away from the premise of processing applications there. Maddening that this is STILL being so widely misrepresented.
