This past election cycle demonstrated a rebuke of identity politics (intersectionality), but because the Democratic Party is an elite party dripping with paternalism, it will likely be a rinse-and-repeat in 2028.
The Democratic Party is viewed negatively by 57% of Americans. That will not change until those in the party stop idolizing those in leadership who led the party to that number.

You can thank intersectionality for bestowing and deifying certain “identities” and bodies with supposed enlightenment—only to reveal the same old anti-Blackness/anti-Black misandry. She referred to George Floyd as “a drug addict swindler.”

Jealousy and envy are not indicative of a healthy relationship but rather an entanglement. These types of 'connections' are often unsalvageable. People lurk, take progress reports, and enmesh themselves in your space, but it does not mean they genuinely support you.
Healthy competition and envy are not comparable. Healthy competition involves mutual respect, where people are inspired to level up and support one another. Envy, on the other hand, involves disdain and a desire for the object of envy to fail and feel less than and undeserving.

Those that dissociate have a skill where they are able to transport themselves to a place where they are safe. It is important that therapists help them to become embodied and begin to process the pain and trauma that led to them developing this skill.

@reform_76 The inner critic operates from shame. A pragmatic approach outside of therapy would be to not isolate (a function of shame) & instead stay connected to people who make you feel seen, heard, & understood (who are safe). Lean into the shame-based beliefs instead of avoiding them.
