Immigrant and undocumented labor has definitely negatively impacted employment prospects for the Black working class, partly contributing to a preference for immigrant and undocumented labor. The research in this area is over 40 years old.

Since Black people are not the only constituents of the CBC and the CLBC, what is the point of using the word "Black"? Why not call these caucuses the "multicultural" caucus to align w/the ideology? There must be some currency (material/symbolic) for using the word "Black."
