@doc_thoughts @doc_thoughts For me, it’s the idea that you have to move Black folks out of Black neighborhoods to “make things better,” which has strong “preference for whiteness” vibes and undervalues resources of Black spaces. Could have put that same effort into enhancing those communities

5 thoughts on how to deliver a great talk with a script (if that’s your preference). 1) Write the script conversationally. You can do this by speaking the script into speech-to-text software. 2) Once finished, read the script aloud, section by section, and make edits.
