Pleased to join other State Health Commissioners at the meeting of the Nigeria Health Commissioners Forum to discuss the ongoing integration and sustainability plan of the Federal Government under the Sector Wide Approach to Health (SWAp). It was an opportunity to also highlight important aspects of the discourse such as greater ownership of healthcare financing within the State Government, importance of data ownership to track progress and make informed decisions and the integration of HIV/AIDS services into the broader healthcare system which is vital for sustainability of the overall healthcare framework. Together, we're working towards a Nigeria where all individuals have access to quality HIV prevention, treatment, and care services. #NACA

Despite the advancements in data technology, the healthcare sector still grapple with chronic fragmentation of data. Too often, valuable information resides in isolated systems, leading to inefficiencies, missed opportunities, and delayed decision-making. Yesterday, in company of stakeholders such as UNAIDS, Global Fund and Dure Technology, I Launched the Nigeria HIV and AIDS Data Ecosystem, which is one way to tackle the aforementioned challenge, uniting disparate but related data sources into a single, cohesive platform where insights can flow freely and collaboration thrive. This solution integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure, eliminating silos and paving the way for a unified approach to data management. The HIV and AIDS data ecosystem will serve as a one-stop shop for HIV data within the country and make it more accessible to users of the platform and by leveraging this tool, Nigeria can effectively monitor progress, identify areas for improvement and ultimately achieve an AIDS-free generation. #DataSystem

I led the Management Staff of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS before the Federal House of Representatives Committee on AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (ATM). The Agencyās 2025 Budget outlines our strategic plan to close equity gaps in HIV Prevention, Treatment and Care Services across Nigeria and sustain the gains through community led responses and collaboration with relevant stakeholders to achieve our goal of ending AIDS as a public health threat in Nigeria by 2030. The key priorities include supporting market shaping for local manufacturing and increasing domestic financial commitments. I extend my sincere gratitude to the Chairman, Hon Amobi Ogah, and Members of the House Committee on ATM for their support and encouragement, looking forward to their continued partnership. #DrTIlori

Excited to resume work today in high spirits and utmost gratitude to God as we had the first meeting of the year, an Interfaith Prayer and Thanksgiving Session, which was first of its kind in the Agency. It was an opportunity for us to unite across different tribe and religion in appreciating God and reflecting on his Loving Kindness as one big NACA Family. In my brief remarks, I appreciated members of Staff and Management of NACA for the support they have shown me since my appointment 10 months ago, while enjoining everyone to show more dedication this year to our goal of ending AIDS as a Public Health threat by 2030. I promised to keep improving the welfarism of our staff and assured them of the commitment of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to building a Prosperous Nigeria. #HappyNewYear
