Couldn’t check in to my hotel until afternoon, so I decided to go to a clam house in Brooklyn that @LargeBarstool posted about. Had New England clam chowder, fried calamari & Meatball Parmigiana. Now I’m in a food coma at a Courtyard by Marriott in mid-town Manhattan.

Update: As if this wasn't already a great honor, I've been informed that Oscar Adaway has been selected to be the chair of the council for the SEC. According to a source, Adaway learned of the news on Monday evening.

@cterlson Late to the party on this, but I am one who tries to avoid using dialogue tags other than ‘said.’ I occasionally will use ‘asked’ or ‘whispered’ if I can’t figure out a way to use action to capture tone. The snippet below from a WIP is how I try to make it sound good.
