3 يوليو/تموز 2013: السيسي يصدر بيانا شمل خريطة طريق تضمنت عزل مرسى، وتعطيل العمل بالدستور مع إسناد الرئاسة إلى رئيس المحكمة الدستورية العليا المستشار عدلي منصور .8 يوليو/تموز 2013: فضت القوات المخولة بحراسة نادي الحرس الجمهوري فجر ذاك اليوم اعتصاما لأنصار مرسي -كانوا أصروا على المرابطة أمام المبنى لاعتقادهم أن الرئيس المعزول محتجز داخله- ما أدى لمقتل 61 شخصا وإصابة أكثر من 435 شخص 24 يوليو/تموز 2013: السيسي يدعو الشعب إلى تفويضه لمحاربة ما سماه "الإرهاب المحتمل". 26 يوليو/تموز 2013: خروج مظاهرات في القاهرة وبعض المحافظات تلبي دعوة السيسي "لتفويضه". 14 أغسطس/آب 2013: فضت قوات من الشرطة والجيش اعتصامي رابعة العدوية والنهضة بعد 45 يوما من بدايتهما، وتتضارب الإحصاءات بشأن عدد الضحايا، إذ أعلنت مصلحة الطب الشرعي أن إجمالي عدد الضحايا هو 377 قتيلا، بينما أكد المجلس القومي لحقوق الإنسان (حكومي) في تقرير له أن أعداد القتلى 632 قتيلا منهم ثمانية عناصر من الشرطة، في حين أعلن التحالف الوطني لدعم الشرعية ورفض الانقلاب (مؤيد لمرسي) مقتل 2600 شخص. 16 أغسطس/آب 2013: تظاهر عشرات الآلاف في ميدان رمسيس احتجاجا على عزل مرسي وفض اعتصامي رابعة والنهضة، وتدخلت قوات الأمن لفض التظاهر-عرفت بأحداث رمسيس الثانية- ما أسفر عن مقتل 173 شخصا، وإصابة أكثر من 1330 آخرين فضلا عن اعتقال العشرات.
