Let’s be clear, people who choose alternative therapies over conventional cancer treatments have a greater risk of death. Individual choices are respected, but let’s not unravel the many, many gains in oncology by evidence-based care.

Oncology MDT’s require the presence & expertise of all key specialities to review, discuss & formulate management plans for people with cancer presented at the meetings. They’re not MDT’s if any one of these specialties are absent.
