My uncle killed himself yesterday. He was terminally ill; his endless struggles with addiction caused pain in my family-he also raised 4 kids who never stopped loving him. His life was meaningful, as every life is: nuanced moments of emotion and memory. I love and miss you Bruce.

I recorded a pretty wild cover of Wait and Bleed by Slipknot for

The last Drowse shows of the year will be in Japan! I'll be an artist in residence in Fukuoka all of December and will be playing solo shows around the prefecture. I'll be putting the finishing touches on the album I started recording in Iceland. A surreal ending to a dream year.

I played an impromptu Halloween guitar/laptop set last week. I was asked to play/handed an instrument about 30 minutes before the show. I had my laptop, a tiny midi controller I like to travel with and, randomly, an Ebow in my backpack—loud drones ensued. Amazing night.
