Romania is wild rn, they use AI voice bots, but for politics, for Russia, calling men to tell them to prepare for war, that the government sends them to fight in ukraine, to destabilize the country. Sadly did not see it on the news, saw it when it called my retired dad next to me :( There must be some punishment for this or frankly some regulation for AI. I know SV is looking down on European regulation but this is nuts. They don't only call you with the AI voice bot, they also recommend you videos on Facebook with fake images, clips from Romanian Army day but cut so it says we're preparing for war instead the normal celebration yearly.

@RnaudBertrand it’s not as simple as you may make it seem, as concrete evidence is handled by prosecutors not to entertain social media. Suffice it to say is that the candidate declared officially he spent zero money for the campaign and when they followed the money trails those led to… guess
