My nephew was on the first BA direct flight back to Cape Town from Heathrow and said the welcome at CT International was incredible with huge fanfare, Firetrucks shooting water into the sky people dressed up as penguins and it made me feel quite tearful & happy for tourism.

Another wonderful trip to Jozi with lots of family bonding. As usual I loved the weather, the trees and the fact that people know how to drive properly, but most of all, I just love the people. Joburg people (on the whole) are just so much nicer than Cape Town people 💫

is off their rocker charging R19/ hour for parking on sea point main road 😳 (was R8 pre pandemic). Most parking garages including the V&A do R10/ hour. Gardens R10 for 4 hours. It's totally outrageous 🤬
