I’m also super glad that my fieldwork overlapped with @_marycollier. Mary-Collier brought me to Cambodia when I was an undergrad 7 years ago to help with her research. And now we’re back at later points in our careers studying similar topics!

Ultimately, developing and maintaining relationships with study participants is a fluid and dynamic process. And having this experience makes me think about how I would teach a qualitative methods course if given an opportunity later in my career.
