My friend introduced me to a new perfectionism hack: "carry the critique forward." Don't fight the overanalysis. Declare your current project done. Then overanalyze it and apply it to the next one.

Honest confession: The cynical me sees rising ADHD rates as intentional design. Sadly, too many people in charge know that the more distracted and impulsive we get, the more we buy stuff we don't need and disengage from what makes us human.

@Flourishing_Flo Really great point. I was turned off from stoicism due to that interpretation. @RyanHoliday's work really helped me see things very differently. It's about having the feelings and doing it anyway.

An underrated cheat code for better mental health is helping someone else. Say hello to a stranger, helping out a teammate, or even listening is cheap therapy for you and them.

@DoctorPerin Just throwing this out there, but perhaps, the DSM isn't the greatest tool for understanding variations within the human condition.

The older I get, the more I realize that almost everything I worry about does not matter. Nobody cares about your clothes, what car you drive, or whether you are "doing it right" or "doing enough." Most people are primarily concerned with their own lives. Focus on yours, too.
