Work is absolutely voluntary. It's true that in order to benefit from the economy you must contribute to it. Meaning you aren't entitled to the fruit of others labor. That is a feature, not a bug, of capitalism. You must have something to trade for food that the farmer or grocery store sees as equal value to them. Usually this trade us done with currency. You can obtain currency by providing goods and services to others in exchange for currency(a job, perhaps), just like the farmer or grocery store does, in the amount you and your employer voluntarily agree on. This makes sure that everyone contributes and no one is forced to give up the fruit of their labor against their will. (If you want the food I work to produce on my farm, you must have something i want to trade for.) voluntary. Getting free food and housing from the government because they stole tax money from people that produce to give to you, who produces nothing, is not voluntary. That's slavery to the producing individuals. Hope that helps.
