So, let PPK send bloods, get RTK box, trace scan report etc. Ask them to do faster if urgent, instead of you running to the labs when you should be attending to patient.

At first I had the same thought.
After I become a MO, I realise MOs have different level of responsibility and have to carry out tasks beyond HO level.
Many MOs will help with blood taking, cannulation and lab forms. But we have to finish our own task first.
I remember my MOs used to tell me like “oh this is houseman work, ask houseman to do” - regarding blood taking. And as expected I rolled my eyes. ☺️

One thing I learnt during housemanship, this kind of stamp chop is much better.
It is tiny, durable and easily refillable.
Most importantly, it can be attached to our name tag lanyards so it won't go missing (might be a big deal because people could misuse it)

We shouldn’t normalise housemen running around to send blood specimens or take covid kit box, right?
Ho tips:
Never ever underestimate ur role, esp when u r junior/tagger, sikit2 trace blood ix, skit2 hntar darah/amek darah, tlong amek brg tu, prepare brg ni, tlong inform,p cari mo/sp amek sign
