Trauma informed practice is relational, & contextual. It is multi layered & dynamic- it needs to be infused, meaningful, & embedded- it is not a tick box, a cookbook, or a one off training, a screening tool, a fruit bowl & more.

Absolutely- just the conversation I was having with David Lammy last week. Adverse Community experiences, adverse organisational & system experiences, adverse historical & intergenerational aspects- need a wider multi-layered picture.
While the ACE study is helpful for building awareness, the picture is incomplete without Adverse Community Environments. Two sides of the same coin. We must look at both and the ways in which we might heal individuals and communities.
