The main reason why the public can’t get timely appointments with GPs is because there are not enough GPs
There is no other way of fixing the problem without recruiting more GPs & stopping GPs leaving

meaning if you have 3 contacts with the Practice in a short time & not improving - then consider admission

Sadly, the pharmacists have had little or no training
So it’s actually increasing GP workload
For over two weeks, patients have been able to get treated for seven common conditions like sinusitis or earache directly from their local pharmacy.
This is freeing up millions of GP appointments and giving patients easier access to the care they need, when they need it.

If I need a patient safety issue raising I won’t be intimidated by anybody
A lot of people asking why the drs never went outside the trust. Not to the police, media, other agencies. It is a legitimate question....but our report shows the culture of the org didn't really encourage this. How true is this of other NHS trusts?
