They're sitting on a 13% approval rating, and 'Public Policy Polling' group has cockroaches, yeast infections, fire ants, and colonoscopies polling more favorably. I've been compiling a list of things most of us have been complaining about Congress, and seeing as we're paying their salaries and all, I feel there is no better time than now for these changes. Please feel free to add/tweak this list, and I would hope that House Freedom Congressmen and others who know all the other crap corrupt RINOS pull would also keep those things in mind. 'THE NEW CONTRACT WITH AMERICA' 🦅🇺🇲 1) Ban ALL lobbyists- NO negotiating! Over 90% of our "representatives" have long ago proven that they'll choose promises, stock tips, and gifts over their constituents' needs. 2) TERM LIMITS NOW! We obviously need some type of age limit at the very least. I would hate to impose term limits on young, effective legislators Maybe impose an age limit of, say, 70 with the ability to finish out the term in progress. Maybe waive the age limit for anyone who can garner at least 75% or so of future votes. 3) Ban insider/individual stock trading by Congress and no stock trading by ANY committee members. There must be consequential punishment for those who fail to disclose all required financial disclosures, Mike Johnson. 4) Ban all @AIPAC and similar donations - it is a conflict of interest for U.S. reps to accept donations from PAC's tied to foreign nations in which they will be writing potential legislation. It's happening. 5) FULL TRANSPARENCY! on bills - and no bills with ambiguous titles - bill titles must reflect the true nature of the bills. No more secret voting on anything! If you're too ashamed to own your vote, don't vote for it! SINGLE ITEM BILLS ONLY and Congress MUST notify Americans when they put forth for a raise. NO MORE SECRECY - WE PAY YOUR SALARIES! And you better have a damn good reason to miss any votes. Too many missed votes should call for a reprimand at the very least. 6) No more buying/selling/dealing of Committee assignments. A more legitimate, uniform way to fill committee spots is needed, especially when certain Congressman have particular expertise as would have been helpful if the two actual snipers in Congress would have been assigned to the J13 Trump Assassination Attempt Committee. 7) Present ALL bills at least one month prior to any scheduled recesses. No more using the holidays as an excuse to sneak through hefty raises for Congress because it's Christmas, and we must vote yes so we can go already. And EVERY Congressman MUST be given sufficient time to read all bills before voting on them. I'm sure I've left out a lot of things, and I would love everyone's thoughts and input.
