I grew up believing all my coaches had my best interest in mind. I believed in them, I trusted them, & for that, they are still my mentors/heroes. I still lean on them for guidance/support. Parents, donโt strip that from your kids. Allow your kids to love their coaches this year.

Sometimes, I look across the field and I wonder how some of these kids are committed to major D-1โs. They donโt play hard, they canโt play the game at this level, they arenโt getting coached in summer ball, so how will they ever play at that level? Just curious.

Donโt like giving up bombs on 3-0 down by 7? Donโt get down in the count because thatโs probably how you got down by 7 runs in the first place. Pitchers are much better today than ever before. This game is wild. You can still win even if the score is lopsided through 8 innings.
I still canโt believe Fernando Tatis Jr. had to apologize for hitting a grand slam on a 3-0 count

If you can throw 95mph, get to balls in the hole, & hit for power, but you canโt throw strikes, canโt finish the play, & you canโt produce offensively during a real game, your tools canโt help baseball coaches win baseball games. I miss watching baseball players play baseball.
