Sometimes we get asked "how can you collect so much trash in a month's time?" And yesterday's cleanup along the river is just one example showing the volume of trash our team collects and disposes of. The Ambassadors used a 35-foot ladder to get down onto the riverbank behind the AT&T building and collected 18 bags of trash that included such items as chairs and wet bedding and blankets. It's time to highlight another one of our DRP Board of Directors and today's highlight features Jeff Siri who represents the entertainment district. “I am a life-long third generation Reno Resident and attended local schools, graduating from UNR. I have been part of Downtown Reno businesses since 1978. I am now the owner of @ClubCalNeva & Siri's Casino. I have seen many changes to the downtown core, but one of the best improvements in recent years has been the DRP with its goal of keeping downtown clean, safe, and vibrant. I am proud to have seen the work first-hand that Neoma Jardon and the entire DRP staff, ambassadors, and licensed security guards do in accomplishing this mission. Their efforts are making Virginia Street and Downtown Reno, as a whole, a better place to live, work and have fun.” See our full Board of Directors here:
