Okay, no NHL for a few weeks. Trade deadline looming. What better time to read as great hockey book on the greatest trades in NHL history? Deal With It recalls the moments when hockey history was irrevocably changed. There also is a ranking of the Top 25 trades in NHL History with the authors presenting their differing lists for comparison. "If you love hockey , if you are interested in the history of hockey this is a must read for you."

Niles Crane. Brilliant.
Now that I have had a month to watch Mark Carney campaign I thought I would draw attention to something I noticed at his campaign launch. Unlike Justin Trudeau with his imposter-syndrome, personality disorders, and daddy issues Mark Carney is an arrogant, aristocratic, windbag who is not used to speaking with anyone beneath his position in life ever since he returned to Canada from Oxford. Mark Carney is like Niles Crane if Niles Crane was a vampire (see: Northferatu). Of course I should be the Prime Minister. I always start my jobs at the top. Of course you don’t need steel. I do. But you don’t. Of course I am being briefed by Cabinet. Why wouldn’t I be? Where am I going with this? When he took the stage in Edmonton he shook his brother’s hand then proceeded to walk right past the furniture. The chesterfield didn’t mind as much that her outstretched hand was missed/snubbed but the toaster did and he was embarrassed. I hope Canadians see through his astroturfed “I’m just a goalie from the territories” nu persona.

Mark Carney has done more in a month to bring Canadians together than Pierre Poilievre did during his entire tenure as opposition leader. Pierre destroyed decency in politics, attacked anyone who disagreed with him, and called Canada broken. Mark replaced that with a real vision.

Reminds me of the palpitations on the Left when The Actor Ronald Reagan won a big victory. Son Henley and Simply Red and Neil Young predicted chaos. What they got was one of most significant non war POTUS ever. They are always wrong about these things. Just look at their gushing for Biden.

Luckily there were no billionaires hanging around the Biden WH. Or any members of the Biden crew becoming fabulously wealthy. I used to recommend James to people for his work. Guess that’s done.
Why are they showing Musk's picture next to this comment? Musk has not sold any of his companies, or walked away from his life. If anything, his association with Trump has made him far richer, thanks to investors anticipating he'll reap the benefits of crony capitalism.
