The irony of losing your job as a restaurant critic is finally being able to dine wherever and whenever you'd like, but having zero restaurants open from which to choose.
If MLB and Players don't reach an agreement today, go ahead and plan your outdoor wedding in Cleveland for March 31 because the weather will be spectacular
71 years ago, the Moondog Coronation Ball was held in Cleveland. The concert was planned by my grandfather Leo Mintz of Record Rendezvous, and Alan Freed, with whom he supplied R&B records for his radio show. This, the only known intact ticket, was donated to the Rock Hall.
To say that I am devastated is an understatement. Corky's wasn't 'just a restaurant,' it was a big part of my childhood. This news will break the hearts of many
This is one of the only known surviving tickets to the Moondog Coronation Ball, which took place on this day 68 years ago and is regarded as the first rock concert.

It was bound to happen: our first road emergency since purchasing our 1993 motorhome 2 months ago and driving more than 1,700 miles.
We feared the worst; that our RV would be towed to a garage while we waiting for hours (or days) as it was repaired. Nothing of the sort occurred
Who in Ohio plans to grow their own cannabis after Issue 2 passes tomorrow? "Adults 21 and older would be permitted to legally grow and cultivate up to six plants within their home." Also I would assume "within home" includes outdoor garden?
In the late-80s, early-90s you could not find a seat at 3 a.m. at places like Big Egg, Chuck's Diner, Clifton Lunch. These joints would fill up after restaurants closed at midnight, bars and clubs at 2 am. They’d get another turn of customers after third-shifters clocked out.

Apparently endless shrimp is not endless. The Red Lobster in Beachwood, which opened on November 22, 1977, has closed. Long live the crimson crustacean.

Ohio Senate Republicans are trying to change the state's marijuana law before it goes into effect. The proposed changes would eliminate home grow, raise the tax rate, alter how the funds would be used, and lower THC levels

is still giving himself an accent when he speaks to GOP audiences. The man grew up in suburban Cleveland abt 20 minutes away from me. No one from northeast Ohio sounds like this.

People: Why are so many restaurants closing?
Also people: It was too brightly lit. Not coming back, very disappointing, don't think this restaurant will survive.
