Grad students with research experience in hydrology, ecology, ecohydrology, and/or remote sensing are encouraged to apply! Feel free to email me (dmciruzzi@wm.edu) with a CV if you are interested!
We're looking for a grad student to help us this summer mentoring undergrads through a NASA Program-- we will work with field, airborne, and satellite data in mentoring undergrads through interdisciplinary projects. More info in attached flier. Contact/email me if interested!

I learned so much working on this project-- dendrochronology, long-term data, data visualization, and more! Hope these results can be useful to folks interested in the influence of groundwater on forests; and particularly in understanding groundwater-tree interactions in modeling
Exploring the influence of groundwater on tree growth, with implications for improving the understanding of climate-induced tree mortality in forest productivity models.π βοΈ@domciruzzi βοΈSteven P Loheide @UWMadisonCEE

@paigeinabook94 @HydroLejo @Novick_Lab I think this is the one I was thinking about! Table 6 in the attached paper. Their calculation of ET was based on a water budget ET = Precip - streamflow. Table 6 shows the overall budgets and then provides percentage increases and decreases, etc

@paigeinabook94 I think there are a few papers from Hubbard Brook that include watershed scale %ET. I think it was something like they measured streamflow and precip and ET was residual. Iβll take a closer look tomorrow!
