Big Update on Deocha Pachami - Reliance Power & Companies from Poland & Canada have shown interest in Underground Mining. Expression of Interest (EoI) was floated by WB Govt in December for Underground Mining in Deocha Pachami. Open Cast Mining has already started on 6th Feb!

Apart from these, foundation stone is laid for setting up the factory of Iscrameco India Private Limited, a premium Global Brand in Electronic System Design and Manufacturing which will draw employment generation of around 5000 in the next 03 years. The event also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of IT& Electronics and Whistling Woods International Limited for collaboration in the fields of Multi Media Education, Virtual Reality etc. which would create huge employment opportunities in the realm of Media and Entertainment. #BengalGlobalSummit2025 #DataCenter

As I promised in the BGBS 2025, the formal Notification for formation of the State Level Investment Synergy Committee is issued today (see below). This will accelerate the pace of Bengal's industrialisation.
