@lordprime2 @fourier_f @eenLien @mcinnes_danny Thanks, but the information above provides a general overview of the Gen 2. It does not include specifics about the Agility Line. Therefore, I think we do not know its production capacity.

@eenLien I was curious about Ajay's choice of KOSES (a small company in South Korea) as a supplier for ENVX. Now it makes sense given his background. As COO of Lumileds and a micro-LED manufacturing specialist, he likely recognized their unique capability to make a laser-stacking machine.

@eenLien @mcinnes_danny I think the Agility Line is not just for quality samples for customers, but it also serves as a sort of workshop for testing and optimizing new machine concepts before actually ordering the new machines for the HVM Line.

@eenLien @fourier_f @mcinnes_danny Thanks, Lien. Expectations seem to rise higher and higher as we approach the 4Q earnings release. I think we need to focus on data-driven approach in order to avoid disappointment.

@fourier_f @eenLien @mcinnes_danny I am trying to understand the production capacity of the Agility Line. I notice your estimate is around 900UPH, but I thought it would be similar to the discarded Gen 1 Line’s 100UPH. I am sorry to bother you, but could you explain the factors contributing to your estimate?

@LateReaponder Thanks, Sam! That's a good point, and it connects to what Raj said during his Fireside-Chat with Oppenheimer’s Colin Rusch.

@leftbreaks @mcinnes_danny I hope so, but it may depend on the smartphone customers’ response to the ENVX battery. During the Grand Opening last summer, several potential customers expressed strong positive reactions, with one even saying, “We are blown over to your battery.”

@mcinnes_danny $ENVX #2 But EX-1M still has a great advantage in terms of fast charging (a key factor, as @Foldnow1984 has also pointed out), thermal management, and other factors. And thus I have a firm belief on further design wins on EX-1M as Raj hoped in his recent press release.

@eenLien $ENVX In our ENVX supporters’ community, it seems to me that Dr Foldnow@Foldnow1984 is one of the best tech-savvies, and he makes a comment:
$ENVX Back on Nov. 2nd I skimmed patent US20240356093A1 and made this remark - "I skimmed the patent and I have an impression of its purpose, but I'd have to read it pretty carefully to fully absorb everything it's trying to protect. My quick impression is that it represents a laundry list of ideas to replenish lithium ions that become bound in the so-called SEI layer that develops upon first charge. The primary concept is to use a generically labeled "auxiliary electrode" which could take the form of like 50 embodiments, to add back active Lithium ions to the charging cycle once they deplete into the SEI layer. The concept also includes a way to monitor how much lithium is being added back during the auxiliary electrode exchange. I have no idea if they have a way to actually do this in practice, or if this is early stage lab stuff. If they do come up with a way to accomplish this, it's truly priceless. Maybe someone smarter than me can tell me where I'm wrong. But that's my quick impression."

@eenLien $ENVX To my cursory knowledge, the above appears to be what Ajay calls “pre-lithiation” as discussed in 'Journey to Scale'. Pre-lithiation is a key feature of ENVX’s technology, which takes place in Zone 3 where the cell is formed and aged for about 3 to 5 days.

@bleacherbum23 $ENVX This wave of new hires is a strong signal for ENVX's significant expansion of manufacturing capacities.
