Horrific. Haitian police and self defence groups took MSF patients out of an MSF ambulance and executed them. Absolutely unacceptable.
On November 11, an MSF ambulance transporting three young people with gunshot wounds was stopped by Haitian police. After an attempt to arrest the patients and firing shots in the air, the police escorted the ambulance to Hôpital La Paix. 1/3

Dr Obeid, our colleague, has been working with MSF since 2018. He was arrested by Israeli forces in Kamal Adwan hospital, where he has been working tirelessly. We have no information about his detention, in what conditions he is being held, or even whether he is alive.
🔴We have received confirmation that Dr Mohammed Obeid, an MSF orthopaedic surgeon, has been detained by Israeli forces along with several medical staff from Kamal Adwan hospital during a military operation on 26 Oct. We are extremely alarmed by the detention of our colleague.
