@_paulrodgers @JimmyPage @ChrisSladeDrums @FretlessMonster Thanks for compelling this 5th grader at the time to beg his dad to take him to his first concert ever—Worcester Centrum (Massachusetts) 1985.

@AlchemyAmerican @danielsheehan45 In light of Jesse’s post I’m rethinking this. I always thought Nixon was leaning on Helms/CIA to let them know he knew THEY, the CIA shot JFK, but this makes way more sense under the theory that Nixon wanted the info so he could protect himself from being tied to the killing.

@Mirokuofnite @EddieTrunk @scorpions @ledzeppelin @acdc I disagree. My kids hated it. They watch movies made for them (Marvel, Minions, etc.) that are chock full of classic rock bangers. I’m Gen X. Classic rock, 90s Hip Hop, 80s Metal, Oughts sleeze; it’s all is so good it’s forever. Kendrick live was exceptionally boring.

@hubermanlab @stillgray There is no reason for the U.S. government to be funding the NYTimes at this (or any) level, but @hubermanlab ‘s question still isn’t answered. Let me put another way: @stillgray what rationale did the Times use to charge/receive these funds?

Bob was never political during the early 60s. He was an antenna tuned to what was happening around him and commenting on it. He said so himself in the Scorsese doc: “To be on the side of people who are struggling doesn’t necessarily mean you’re being political”. People projecting their politics on him is folly. If he has allegiance to any ideology — beyond Christ’s — it’s to that of the outlaw (which of course Christ was). The filmmakers knew this.
