If Donald Trump were to appear on national television to label Tinubu as the drug baron many suspect him to be, the impact would likely be minimal. The response would be a flurry of social media activity, planning sessions in virtual spaces, and organizing protests with crowdfunding efforts for essentials like water, snacks, branded t-shirts, and even bulletproof vests. The harsh reality is, recognizing and accepting one's subjugation might be more strategic than futile resistance against an overpowering force. This acknowledgment could potentially lead to more effective forms of opposition or adaptation in the long run. Stop shifting blames and take responsibility of your docility, laziness and cowardice attitude towards your place of residence. Nigeria is my place of birth. America is my Place of residence.

This is disheartening to acknowledge, yet true, that significant personal and political sacrifices have been made in an effort to align our homeland's governance and societal norms with those experienced in expatriate settings. I have personally encountered instances where individuals, once beneficiaries of my financial support, have turned against me. They have resorted to name-calling upon discovering my political affiliations, specifically my support for the Democratic Party and Vice President Kamala Harris. This reflects a broader issue of how political polarization can fracture personal relationships and reveal the complexities of identity, loyalty, and ideological alignment in a globalized world.
The only mistake I made was that, while I was busy calling out corruption in Nigeria, reporting the election, and the campaign, planning and educating folks on how to become politically aware, reach out to the legislatures, know what is happening in the courts in real time, I ignored US politics entirely because I thought I was doing something good for Nigerians. I thought it didnβt matter as much because I felt I had a duty. I focus on one thing at a time, so while I was busy hustling, researching, and keeping late nights to INFORM Nigerians about their government, I neglected the politics of where I live which affects me directly. However, I can now see that those Nigerians are now mocking me for it. They think itβs hypocrisy that I channeled my energy to Nigeria and not to the US. As I said, itβs a mistake that will never repeat itself. I know where my loyalty lies and have learned from it.

I have so many questions to ask! Come with yours too π
Today is #SkullMining and #RitualKilling Exposure Day with @OffTheCuffJimmy. In the past few months, Investigative Journalist @chiditweets042 has been on a voyage of revealing the horrific skull mining and ritual killing pandemic in SouthWest aka Yorubaland, Nigeria. Today, we will learn on @OffTheCuffJimmy @diisa2002's podcast if skull mining and ritual killings are part of the traditions and cultures in Yorubaland. Don't miss it.

Exactly General! Compassionate Empathy Imaginative Empathy Cognitive Empathy To cultivate these empathies, one must: 1. Acknowledge Biases - Recognize and confront your own prejudices which color your interactions and judgments. 2. Listen- Truly hear what others are saying without the interference of your own preconceptions. 3. Ask Questions - Engage with curiosity, not to challenge, but to understand the depth and breadth of another's experience. 4. Appreciate Needs - Understand that the needs of others may differ vastly from your own, and they are no less valid or significant. Many of these ignorant fools harbor the misconception that we are undocumented citizens, homosexual, or that we endorse abortion out of promiscuity. It's disappointing to see such misguided thinking from those you'd least expect it from. π€¦π½ββοΈπ€¦π½ββοΈπ€¦π½ββοΈ
I voted blue because I care about others. Trumpβs executive orders will never affect me one bit, I donβt like eggs that much, I donβt work in the govt sector, I donβt need visa, but I know it will hurt millions of innocent people. Thatβs my thought process.
