i actually cooked. this is my best analysis ever. just previous chapter we see nagi present the offering to THE KING reo, so barou coming in next chapter proclaiming himself as the king ticked off nagi, especially because he's NOT worthy of being in same league as reo in his mind
you know what I just realised? nagi sort of idealises reo as the king he serves. and he sees reo as the amazing king. and here comes barou, barging like a tyrant king from his pov which is such contrast to how reo looks after team V as the king. hence, the "you fail as a king."
