@gompstomp78 Yeah the players have got the next three games to start showing us more (up to and including that lot away) and if we are still served up the same dross, the Plymouth and Watford games especially will become very toxic

@mikejt67 @sman3d @christofflennon If we don’t produce something better against Sheff Utd and them lot down the road the fans will be turning again, this time against the board and players

@christofflennon @sman3d It is totally unprecedented for a team in the modern era to do what we are doing currently, the Sunderland & Pompey teams who went down twice had financial issues, sold all their best players and were in all kinds of problems, genuinely have no idea how things have got this bad!

@MISTERPDW @kevlennon1 Yeah I think you are probably right, I guess Naismith is excellent cover for a number of positions whether he actually starts or not

@MISTERPDW @kevlennon1 Yeah totally agree Paul, although given the form Bell has been in he is probably our next best option after Doughty for the left back slot, unless they decide to play Naismith there

@kevlennon1 @MISTERPDW Yeah he’s a big unit, I think overall Luton defended really well as a team and he looked very competent, did make one slightly rash challenge where he picked up a booking though, it’s just hard to gauge what standard we witnessed last night as it looked a fair bit off Champ level

@MISTERPDW @kevlennon1 It would be a complete guess but I would say possibly next season, unless we have a few injuries (perfectly possible) I can’t see him starting a game for us in this campaign, he is clearly still quite raw

@MISTERPDW @kevlennon1 Even better when we lost every game in the same competition last season, clear progress is being made with the U21 side, I was quite impressed with Makosso last night, his accurate long diagonal passes remind me of Locks & Naismith

@SSE_LTFC I’m no big fan of Woodrow but you could definitely make the same argument as people did about Taylor that he didn’t have a run of games to prove himself, how many games did he actually start in the last few seasons

@LTFC_Dave @Mr_JLV_LTFC @richyhardy Reece Burke might be back for the Sunderland game in which case he is getting smashed in the first 5 mins

@jamie_castle96 Burke is back in light training so won’t be far away, last I heard Mengi won’t even be back on the grass until sometime in March, and given the amount of time he has been out would surely be impossible for him to return before early April

@MattAquino_ @danlukeashby Yeah I’m surprised we are going to register all 3 of Mengi, Baptiste & Moses in our 25 man squad, fingers crossed we don’t suffer another run of injuries as would mean almost impossible to rotate the squad in some positions

@richyhardy I wouldn’t be surprised if Reece Burke is our right back at Sunderland, has a decent game and then gets injured again a few weeks later and we are back to square one

@callumLtfc @LutonEye @_TeamsLikeLuton That’s true and I believe he has played alongside Aasgaard in that under 21 side, he might struggle to oust the Norway number one striker in the senior team though!

@MattAquino_ @prishungry I think we might well deregister Mengi, if he is not going to be back until the end of March/beginning of April at the earliest then it would be sensible, no idea how long Baptiste is out for but if it’s the same sort of timescale then that could also happen

@Daveachino @richyhardy MB said the same in his press conf after the game that somebody has to make the foul earlier, this is exactly the sort of pace and directness we need to see from our new signings to make us far more of a threat
