The purpose of the Awards is to recognise, acknowledge & reward, for the public benefit, the very best in restoration, conservation & re-use of our historic railway infrastructure. We were sent a fantastic photo dating from April 1968, shared here with @MiniapertureP 2023 photo.

Day 2 of our first pre-1919 buildings repair & maintenance course at Wingfield Station today. Yesterday 9 learners had a mix of theory & practical (hot mix lime & measuring/gauging sticks) training. Great for all levels of (perceived) knowledge as the last slide demonstrates!
