@wilderthanrogue @paulg "dude who takes from the system, should pay less" I also never said that. It's very hard to keep a conversation when the only thing you do is misrepresent what I'm saying.

@wilderthanrogue @paulg I never said they pay 50%, only that non wealthy people would happily apply that tax. Paying taxes based on what you take from the system, like a credit, would be interesting. But that's very different from being taxed on how much wealth you produce.

@geschinger @paulg Yeah people focus too much on the percentage. Looking at absolute contributions might help them see things in a different light

@marc_louvion It depends on your goal. Want to look good? Diet is very important, working out helps. Want to be strong? Workout is very important, diet helps.

@wzulfikar I hope we still set the direction, although focusing on bigger and bigger pictures. But yeah, once they decide for us I hope I have enough cash to buy land and grow some veggies 🧑🌾

@SHollywoodN @dhh Good point the lack of incentive for new ppl. I guess it could be solved by giving away more shares every year (kind of inflation but for your shares) The second problem, value added after X years, could be solved with an agreed buyback after Y years.

@wzulfikar Totally agree on this take. Let AI be the specialist in the technical parts while you are the specialist on the product and UX. Solid understanding of the basics in multiple fields to set the direction. Let AI carry the heavy load.

It doesn't have to be a drain. Shares are issued dilute any worker who left, as they don't get new shares. It's not like the shares always get the same amount of $$. On the loyalty, I agree. But I thought the goal was to share profits to those who made profits possible. Maybe rewarding loyalty over contributions is what I don't quite agree with.

@weareallsatnaka @GrantSlatton These days I use perplexity for this kind of information. I know they use Wikipedia as a source, but at least they combine other sources and I'd guess that de-wokes Wikipedia at least a little bit.
