A winter storm looks likely to impact the area beginning Tue evening with heavy snowfall at times after midnight thru Wed AM, ending west to east thru the afternoon and evening. Totals are forecast at 6-9" for most of the area, though amounts can still be adjusted. #kswx

Expect some light snow Mon. evening followed by the main event, as NWS just issued a Winter Storm Watch (02/11) from 6:00 PM Tues. to (02/12) 6:00 PM Wed. Heavy snow is possible, with total snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches. Please get snow ready DGCO! 02/09 @ 320PM EM6
