The hierarchy of obligations under MAGA is that if you don’t bend over for Trump, you find out very quickly that they don’t really mean all Americans
Just google “ordo amoris.” Aside from that, the idea that there isn’t a hierarchy of obligations violates basic common sense. Does Rory really think his moral duties to his own children are the same as his duties to a stranger who lives thousands of miles away? Does anyone?

@AdnanChaumette @thomaschattwill And wokeness wasn’t just pushed by whites. Most large ideological groups in the US are multiracial, majority white, & mutually reinforcing. White wokes and nonwhite wokes both influenced each other like people with the same ideological persuasion tend to do.

There are some nonracist rightists who are percieved as racist because they have subzero empathy outside of their personal interest. They think the belief “normalize Indian hate” should be tolerated if being a communist is. They leave the back door open for actual racists.

The core of MAGA ideology is the borderline spiritual belief that: 1) You have primacy over outgroups, & this is not a mere logistical necessity; it is innate to you. 2) No one should expect you to prove, earn, or affirm your primacy through character or behavior.
