The Yorubas in ancient times had a thing called Ilé-Ifá, which is a school of philosophy. Students of the school dress up in white robes like the ancient Greeks & they learn deep philosophical, intellectual & esoteric ideologies. Odu ifá (Ifa corpus) is still around with us today
