@mo_rng_out We'll comment more on this later. At a high level, some basic safety guidelines will be advised, and certain habits must be acquired (e.g. be mindful of showing off cameras), but truth is the views of the English-speaking world (media, blogs etc) are quite biased and exaggerated.

@overleaf is limiting sharing projects via open links: "The changes will give project owners better visibility and control over who can edit their projects", but this seems to be just to prevent free users from using links with more than 1 collaborator.

@heydari_be I didn't know about SPC! I've heard about SMC only once, but I'm seeing SMPC more often these days and I dislike it so much. However, it feels irrationally conservative: ultimately, "multiparty computation" just conveys multiple parties computing, the "secure" part is essential!
