@Mphonika @PaulJustin27306 @HughdeCroft @MrsButters Not sure if he’s being sarcastic or really is this dumb.

@kytruckerbill @MrsButters Actually, the article isn’t at all what the headline suggested. I didn’t read the whole thing but someone was kind enough to post a paragraph which put everything in perspective.

Was I the only one who didn’t know this? 🙂
@deelukindo @HughdeCroft @MrsButters The biology is not the same. Black womens vaginas are shaped differently. So too are their hip widths internally. Understanding the cause is more important than being upset at someone reporting fewer mothers are dying.

@DReelBacon @jeffery4free @MrsButters You are right. Context is everything. What I was reacting to was the headline - and it seems some people don’t get that. Thanks for responding fairly instead of name-calling.

@Zygmy @jeffery4free @MrsButters Thank you for responding with respect instead of name-calling. You’re right. Context did change my perception. The headline was click-bait.

@PaulJustin27306 @HughdeCroft @MrsButters LOL. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I would never have known.

@ChongsDumpster @MrsButters You are overreaching. I didn’t blame all white people. And yes, I made it clear that I was reacting to the HEADLINE. Please see my response to the poster below. He posted the article and it changes my perspective, instead of calling me names.

Prince Harry is so eloquent - with no teleprompter in sight. So different from the self-proclaimed smartest man on earth, Donald J. Trump, who cannot piece 5 words together to make a coherent sentence.
Here’s the full beautiful & emotive speech from Prince Harry the Duke of Sussex, founder of Invictus Games, father of Archie & Lili and husband of Meghan.😍 #InvictusGames2025

@PaulJustin27306 @HughdeCroft @MrsButters Excuse me - I need a minute to catch my breath after laughing so hard at this. First time I heard that vaginas have any role to play in maternal mortality rates..

@ChongsDumpster @MrsButters Coming from someone who doesn’t seem to have HIS together! That’s rich. Move on…

@ChongsDumpster @MrsButters That’s exactly what I understood from the headline - that black women’s maternal deaths disproportionately higher. I guess you’re also an idiot, then. You got all worked up for nothing. I think you’re the one needing professional help, you special type of idiot.

@MasterBeef93 @MrsButters Name-calling is 1st grade level, so I’d say you’re the one who is mentally challenged. I would respect what you have to say if you explained why I got it wrong instead.

@Mean_Curmudgeon @MrsButters I see you still don’t understand the headline. Maybe you should read it again.

@MrsButters Someone was kind enough to post this, and, put into perspective, it changes the first reaction one might garner from the headline:

@Banglaphile @MrsButters Thanks for the chart. We shouldn’t have to take one race out of the equation though to “standardize” statistics. Instead, we should work towards making pregnancy and birth safe for all. What makes this worse is that black women make up for only 13% of the population in the USA.

@larry48cf @MrsButters I don’t disagree with you. What I pointed out is the wording, and what I got from it. The disparity should prove, though, that theee are problems that need to be addressed so that there shouldn’t be any high mortality rates across the board.

@MrsButters I’ve noticed that all the men who resort to name-calling instead of arguing intelligently are the cowards who hide behind fake names and “masks”. I would respect their opinions so much more if they were brave enough to show their faces (and don’t have only 4 followers).
