thinking abt capitano's survivor's guilt today. he's a soldier whose job it was to stand and maintain guard while he watched people he was supposed to protect die/turn into monsters, and maybe eventually wondering if it's the curse or the guilt itself that's consuming him.

every harbinger had their own story explained via numerous in-game materials meanwhile his has been barely touched. other than him being a commander of khaenri'ah we know nothing. his story in natlan is pretty much finished for now, but that doesn't mean it won't continue later.

he is not ENTIRELY dead. his soul has merged with the night kingdom, which now only further fuels the loom of fate storyline as well as one of his own goals of completely reconstructing the ley lines. which is again, yet left unexplained (unless i've missed something).

there is small probability as of now, but i am quite okay with him releasing in snezhnaya, or later. that is, as long as he doesn't die of course. he has playable character files, in-game sticker, etc. plus they probably didn't show him bc hyv loves watching players suffer lol.

still having hope for capitano to be playable, bc of these two + the fact that he he's kind towards traveler and cherished by CN players. if they just scrap his development/design, hoyo would lose bunch of money and with how natlan is, it'd be the worst possible decision.

if this is true, it could only make sense if they plan on releasing sub-regions throughout the year like mare jivari or dandelion sea. it sounds a little like βniet krajβ which roughly translates to βnot a regionβ β potential in-game story changes, unlike those we're alr used to.

@randomkayakmain young capitano had fiery temper + quickly engaged in fights and was easily provoked unlike now, very competitive also. he would often challenge the authority bc he thought it would be more effective !.
