Been juggling lots of AI apps lately: Cursor + 3.5 Sonnet for coding, o1 pro for general tasks, o3-mini-high + Deep Research for those big questions in my head, etc. What I've been enjoying lately is using Grok to scan the Twitter graph to find things I know X or Y person tweeted way back.

As for how big this is, MCP is Anthropic’s way of creating a layer for apps to communicate with one another. Think APIs. The other week I connected Claude to my live production database and asked it to do the ff: - understand my schema - figure out usage of my app by our customers - create metrics for us regarding growth and retention, and as a bonus - write a sample investor update given our last months data 🤯

using the latest AI codegen tools to do "vibe coding" (where you ask it for features, accept changes, and keep editing) is both brilliant, and enormously frustrating You can get the first 75% trivially, and it's amazing. Then try to make changes and iterate, and it's like you are doing over-the-shoulder coding with an incompetent intern who can barely code and doesn't understand your instructions You might have to ask 5 different ways to get the same thing done. You might just have to ask it to reset an entire feature and rebuild from scratch. Sometimes it works, sometimes not Yet the promise is obviously there and very exciting. I'm def stuck at 85% on my evening project though lol
