Hard to exist in today’s LP if you hold on to principles and act on them. Keep doing what you are doing to stand up for the needs of your constituents.
I have found out in a news article, that I’ve not had the Labour whip restored which was removed for voting to scrap the 2-child limit. Almost half of all children in my borough grow up in poverty. I want to be clear: I will always stand up for the people of Poplar & Limehouse.

What about “safe passage”. Too hard for you to say? I’m not on the side of people smugglers. I am on the side of migrants+refugees. My grandparents came as migrants/refugees from a time and place of pogroms. Time to stand up for humanity, not mouth the slogans of the far right.
There will be no more Tory gimmicks or empty rhetoric. My message to the criminals who still think they can breach our borders is this: there is nowhere to hide. We're coming after you.
