@leiftree @wizardklly @godlewski_g @W00dchuck7524 @BrianCantWin @RealPatrickWebb That’s what I did, I shut my brain off. 🤣🤣 What a ridiculous statement. Also, apparently people (like wiz above) don’t appreciate levity. Was it sooo hard to laugh at a comment? Don’t take life so seriously.

@W00dchuck7524 @BrianCantWin @RealPatrickWebb Woodchuck gets caught with dumb math which disproves his original point that “it’ll cost more to send the check”, then pretends like there’s nothing to see here. 🤣 How about send me his share and I’ll happily use the “approximately $9.254” in whatever way I feel.

It’s not whether they’re kids or not. First of all, it’s a subjective term - much older people (80’s, 90’s) often look at everyone not just in their 20’s but also 30’s and even 40’s as “kids”. Second, it’s an idiomatic term, also commonly used in adult league softball when cheering on teammates, and similar to how people use the word “bro”. The VAST majority of people don’t use the word literally to mean “adolescent”.

It’s also required by most major tournaments. So not everything is about “what level are you”. I’m 3.9 on DUPR but I regularly play with, and beat, 4.5 players. And medal at 4.5. I care more about my tournament finishes than I do about my DUPR rating. Nevertheless, DUPR is part of the formula that is required by organizations to register. So it’s a tool, not the endgame.

@riecker It only took a brief history of Protestantism to realize I no longer wanted to have anything to do with Protestantism…

@MikeCosper And from your ivory tower earlier, you condescendingly criticized someone for calling you a “freaking tool”…. Mike, you’ve gone off the rails, blinded by how high you are on yourself.
