@bratton @nils_gilman It’s a common problem in sampling Native people that survey researchers expert on the topic encounter. It’s not a cope asshole.

@bratton @nils_gilman For example (and not knowing the specifics of the methodology): this is likely based on native self-identification rather than citizenship, which means the sample is partly racist white people claiming to have native heritage rather than actual tribal citizens
