Me and Ray have spoken about the possibility of us working on a new album. Ray has a few songs he wants to finish. I have 3 or 4 songs I’ve written with Ray. We’ve been talking about it for some time now. We haven’t discussed shows or anything else at the moment.

did not play on You Really Got Me . I played the solo and the heavy part. It’s all my guitar. He absolutely did not play on any of our hits at all.
Producer Shel Talmy used Jimmy Page, a session guy at the time, to occasionally fill in rhythm parts with the Kinks and the Who and probably Creation and everything else he did. But no solos that I know of.

On September 10, 1964, The Kinks third single 'You Really Got Me', was at No.1 on the US and UK singles chart. Future Led Zeppelin founder and guitarist Jimmy Page is said to have played tambourine on the original studio track.

I’m in shock. Duane Eddy was one of my most important influences. He was so important in so many ways. What did he die of? He wasn’t that old. Not Duane. I thought he’d live forever.
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Duane Eddy. As a legendary guitarist, he inspired generations with his pioneering twangy sound and musical innovations. His sound will forever echo in the halls of rock ‘n’ roll history. Rest in peace, Mr. Eddy, you will be missed.

when I was growing up, my mom would put bricks in the oven or bricks in the fireplace and I would take a brick wrapped in a towel to bed to keep warm. A lot of working class families had a tough after the war. we always had a fireplace and a fire burning. It was cozy.
