how many times do i have to say this… FUCK THE BOX OFFICE NUMBERS! it’s always “the box office numbers were low” when talking k-12. it was shown for ONE day in SELECT theatres, ofc they were low. the point of the movie was to PROMOTE the WHOLE era and ALBUM. not to stand ALONE.
Stop saying that we’re getting a film if we just stream PORTALS. We are getting a music video for each track, becase Mel’s team is proud of the album’s sales, but they didn’t finance a movie because it’s harder to recover the spendings just with box office, unlike mv views.
