After six incredible years, I will be leaving

in the next few weeks.
Since 2018, it has been a privilege serving the club I grew up supporting.
I am proud of the work done and will leave with so many special memories and good friends.
Up the Cardinals. ♥️
As one door closes, another one opens…
I am delighted to be joining the communications team at

What a privilege to have Martin back down at
@wokingfc
this morning. ♥️
Personally, he’s given me so much of his time and wisdom over the years and I’m so grateful. A true gent.
This week marks 70 years since his first Woking match - looking forward to releasing our feature.
Proud of this! Our first attempt
@wokingfc
at advertisement like this, and these can be seen across a few platforms in Surrey. Always cool to see your work in person!
This season just keeps getting better 😍
@wokingfc
1350 travelling Cardinals and another win in yellow 💛
Huge thanks to our media team - three videographers and our other great volunteers. It’s a privilege to work with them all 🙌
Some great content coming this weekend 👀
Season five done ♦️
@wokingfc
Gutted it’s over, but what an incredible year. FCAs nomination,
@smivadee
, so many wins, building our media team and a real foundation now set.
Proud of the progress made. Thank you for all the support and feedback. Excited for season six ♥️
For the first time ever, Woking Football Club have qualified for the Vanarama National League promotion play-offs.

For the first time ever, Woking Football Club have qualified for the Vanarama National League promotion play-offs.
2022/23 regular season finished. Time for the play-offs.
@wokingfc
Nothing is done yet, but I wanted to take a moment to thank the media team we have brought together.
Their tireless efforts as placement students and volunteers is admirable and I am so lucky to work with them.
So many memories made with this special football club in 2022, my fifth year.
Wembley for the FA Cup activations, FCAs nomination, Smiv content and Shots away - just to name a few!
Thank you to my colleagues and all those that have supported our content this year ♥️
@wokingfc
Growing up, my dad would tell me stories of following Geoff’s team.
Working with him for the past few years has been the greatest privilege. Geoff is a true mentor and now a good friend.
I’ll miss his endless stories and grabbing him a coffee each lunchtime.
Thank you, GC. ♥️
After six decades of service to Woking Football Club, Geoff Chapple and the Club today jointly announce his retirement.
A legend in the truest sense of the word. Thank you, Geoff.
The perfect day. A special tribute for Andy with both sets of fans contributing, a great win, an even greater atmosphere, and a nice little tweet to sign things off! 😅📲
Last year's
@wokingfc
rebrand presented us with an opportunity to clean up the brand's consistency, both digitally and in-person ♦️
Still some way to go, but it's encouraging to see the progress made so far be reflected somewhat in the numbers achieved since 2021/22 🙌
Today brought a close to 2023.
@wokingfc
Some incredible memories and some tougher times too - all part of the process of constantly striving to improve.
Proud of the progress we’ve made digitally this year, setting foundations for future growth.
Here’s to a big 2024 - UTC ♥️
A special year
@wokingfc
. ♦️
Launching the new brand after a multi-year process, bringing in the
@adidasfootball
range, huge upgrades in our digital output, and so many other landmarks.
Proud of 2021 - thank you to all that helped and supported us. Bring on 2022! ♥️
And just like that, 2020/21 comes to an end.
Personally, the most productive and rewarding of my three years at
@wokingfc
. Thank you to my colleagues for making it so.
A privilege to be part of this club - we are going places. Excited to see what 2021/22 brings! ❤
So pleased/relieved to see this from afar. 😅
What was a season of so much hope ended up unravelling to be a near-nightmare.
A tough year for all but huge credit to everyone behind the scenes for their continued hard work, and especially Doyler.
Now, kick on in 2024/25! ♥️
Trying to go for a bit more of a polished interview this season, featuring b-rolls of the individual or photos from relevant moments.
When possible, numerous cameras too. Very small tweaks to before, but always looking to make what we produce
@wokingfc
better!
I've had this photo by
@davidholmes54
bookmarked since Swindon, and it's still one of my favourite photos from recent years.
Made even better by the fact the players in it are still with us. Fingers crossed for another memorable season. 🤞

Making the most of high-profile opposition ✅
Last week's friendly against
@ArsenalAcademy

- Our best performing tweet ever
- Our best performing Facebook video ever
- Our second-best performing YouTube video
And a huge thank you to
@PhilFiddesPhoto
, too.

Lucky to have you!
Woking fans! 🚨
It's our job in the media team to make supporters feel more connected to the Club.
We're seeking feedback on our output - highlights, interviews,

Incredible servants, a pleasure to watch and great to work with.
I'll miss filming their post-match celebrations!
Thank you for all you've done for us,
@CraigRossy
and
@Big_Mac_457
♥️
Despite the result, it was great to see
@laithwaitecomm
packed with a record-breaking crowd for the derby a couple of weeks ago.
Over 40 social media ticket pushes across the
@wokingfc
platforms and a club-first in digital advertisement at Surrey train stations.
Happy 18th Birthday to one of our fantastic videographers,
@leoruby2003
!
An integral part of last season's
#CardsLive
streams, Leo contributes a ton on matchday and has been with us voluntarily for a few years.
Here are some of his best camera two shots so far this season... 👏
Not usually one to share this sort of thing, but a huge thank you to the
@wokingfc
supporters and other followers of our content that have got us nominated for
@The_FCAs
! 🤯
If you’d be so kind, please vote for us! ♦️
So happy to finally have this out - nothing better than seeing an idea through to execution. 👌
Top work from
@connorlaing3
and a privilege to have
@BenAFletcher
part of the reveal! ♥️
Also, it was fantastic and long overdue to have
@wokingfcwomen
in the announcement, as part of our commitment to grow the team’s profile.
Excited to see our plans go ahead for this season and beyond!
@BensonMiyoba
🙌
Pleased to get the first one launched.
Still plenty we’ll be adding, not least starting with more extensive Community, Women’s and Academy content.
Always open to ideas given the new concept and greater potential going digital!
The first FREE digital programme of the season has dropped!
Matchday collectables will also be available for £1 from the hatch near the Kingfield Road Turnstiles and Club Shop.
Few better things than an evening win at
@laithwaitecomm
! 🤩
Content, as ever, superb from the media team. Nice to be using that goal animation on the scoreboard, too!
@wokingfc
8k+ likes, 600k+ impressions, 145k views, 160k engagements and 20k profile views, resulting in the 20k followers mark being surpassed.
It almost wasn’t posted. Our most interacted tweet ever and the lowest effort one too! 😅
What a night. One of the best games from my three years at
@wokingfc
.
Top work from
@connorlaing3

Excited to share some of the goal fan cams recorded in a new series! 👀
One year since we launched the rebrand
@wokingfc

This is a passion project of mine and after a very long design phase, I am incredibly proud to see the progress made digitally and with our brand in the last year.

In my almost three years with Woking, that was one of my favourite games to cover on the socials.
Proper, spirited comeback. So delighted for
@JaydenWareham
- he more than deserves that!
Another big win in our run of tough fixtures! Strong social content with numbers to show for it!
