My wife was very sick last night, and we were trying to book an appointment. Turn out, there is no availability with our family doctor until March, even with video call options. What’s stopping hospital to put virtual agents for the first triage? The family doctors mostly do inference of their brains before referral to other departments anyway. If patients could upload their temperature and ECG, then most patients could do self service at home. This seems to be replaceable with AIs.
