Good morning Patrick leading collective worship today all about Forgiveness the Christian Value this half term. Looking at the burden of not forgiving & explaining forgiveness brings peace to help you go on with life. Eva Kor forgave those that did her wrong based on her beliefs.

Congratulations to Danesfield’s year 8 hockey team who played a selection of small sided and 8 a side games versus @MineheadMiddle Great skills were on display showing just how much they’ve progressed this year as a result of their regular training sessions. Well done everyone!

Fantastic fun for Danesfield’s athletes who participated in the 1st round of Somerset Panathlon events. Activities included: Boccia, Archery, Ten Pin Take Them Out, Zombie Spots, Seated Slalom, Bench Hockey, New Age Kurling, Volleyball. Thanks to the @StrodeCollege leaders

Congratulations to Danesfield’s year 6 netball team who competed in the 1st round of the Taunton Area Netball Champs. A 100% win record, whilst conceding no points, shows just how well they played. Terrific teamwork, amazing agility, precision passing and super shooting. 👏👏

Danesfield’s athletes represented the Sedgemoor Area in the Somerset Schools X Country Champs. They competed against the best athletes in the county on a challenging course. A fantastic effort from Kobi, Oakley, Freddy, Jordan, Annabelle and Annie – we’re very proud of you!

Danesfield’s yr8 basketball players enjoyed a day of coaching and games thanks to @richuish @tigers_somerset Famed for its history of 🏀 success, the players benefitted from experienced coaches, a variety of practices and loads of games. A fab day, enjoyed by all - thank you! 🏀

Congratulations to Danesfield’s yr8 rugby team who won 2 and lost 1 to finish 3rd at the Taunton Area Champs. After a challenging CVL a few weeks ago, the boys bounced back showing true resilience, great play and teamwork, despite playing with 1 man down. So proud of them! 👏👏

Congratulations to Danesfield’s year 8 basketball team who won both their games in the 2nd round of the Junior NBA. Sporting their new kit, they displayed a real competitive spirit and, most importantly, thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Well done 👏🏀

Well done to Danesfield’s pupils who participated in the inaugural Multi-Sports Festival v @MineheadMiddle With games of volleyball, benchball and dodgeball being played, there was lots going on and, most importantly, it was fun. Looking forward to the next one!
