Uncorking a bottle of Onyx Agave vodka for multiple toasts of gratitude to the recent gathering of the SNL Five-Timers Club for displaying our 3-liter bottle.  Hanks stood right in front of it!  He will be receiving a lifetime supply of Crystal Head.  Now, that last five-timers sketch gave us a mere sliver of the comedy mallet which will be wielded during the 50th.  This will be the greatest night for comedy, satire, music and our culture.  Will we see Lovitz?  Kattan?  Jackson?  Downey?

Wow!  What a propulsive, engaging, funny, beautifully cast and acted, suspenseful, adventurous, music-filled ride.  A perfect window into the creative process at its highest level.  Pretty accurate too.  I was there that night and got to relive it wonderfully again.  Congratulations Gil, Jason and Blumie.  Don't miss it whether you know the show or not.  It is a stand-alone masterpiece and surefire candidate for Best Picture.
