Film execs are moving the production of American movies and TV shows abroad. Why? Competitive tax incentives play a big role, but couple great tax incentives with cheaper labor and it's no contest. Film industry labor is significantly cheaper outside the US, especially in Central Europe, and especially after the SAG and WGA strikes in 2023. Imagine that. The American unions went on strike to demand more money, increased the cost of filming in the US as a result, and now the studios are simply moving production out of the country. Who could have seen this coming?

Anthony Mackie explains what Captain America represents for him: “Captain America represents a lot of different things & I don’t think the term ‘America’ should be one of those representations. It’s about a man who keeps his word, who has honor, dignity and integrity.” (Source: redheadsdiaries/IG)
